3. I would suspect that there are a number of individuals that agree and believe that the workplace should be free of any attempt to proselytize and convert someone to their religion. However, there may be others who would appreciate a little more “spirituality” in the workplace regardless of one’s religion. How could there be more spirituality in the workplace without offending anyone’s particular practice of religion?

4. Employers may create a discriminating event against more senior workers when hiring a replacement for a senior employee who vacates a position. There may be some “hard to fill” positions for which the employer will have to pay a higher salary in order to successfully recruit. In this case the in-hire salary for the recruit may possibly be higher than the more senior employees who have been working for the employer for many years. The new recruit who is junior in age and years of service will end up making significantly more in compensation over their career because of the higher salary that they were hired in at the time of employment. Is this illegal discrimination based on age? Why or why not?

This is my current mission statement: To empower human resources to become human assets, then continually provide an environment for assets to become productive and create a pivotal talent pool where learning and transformation happens, complementing the strategic goals of continuous improvement.

Feedback: This looks good, however I think professor had said something about HR not working for the employees so the mission should be getting the employees pumped to getting the company’s morals and ethics across to employees and customer. I looked up Disney’s mission statement
