Organizational Design and Structure

In this Discussion, you will compare and contrast different organizational structures, identifying their key elements.

The textbook reviews common and newer organizational designs. Give them a review and then answer the following questions: 

With regard to your current organization (or one with which you are familiar), which design structure is being used?

Would you consider this same organization mechanistic, organic, or hybrid? 

Do you believe this structure and design are effective given the product and the business environment? Why or why not?

Explain and substantiate your answer. Provide relevant examples for support.
