There are two objectives for this Article Review project:

Provide the opportunity to practice on how to write with “critical thinking” and clarity.
Training for summarizing an article you believe would help your company succeed in the business environment.
We define critical thinking as the process of offering evidence to support your thesis. We present this evidence through Inductive or Deductive methods. Can the author’s conclusion be confidently made with certainty (Deductive)? Or should the conclusion be qualified as highly likely or at least probable, but less than certain (Inductive)?

Summarizing an article was shown to be a best practice for many years. In September 1979, Lee Iacocca was hired to be the President at Chrysler. To turn the failing company around, he instituted many practices which are still used today; you are learning one of them here –summarizing large articles in to one or two pages.

So please read the attached guidelines and rubric carefully. This should be more than another project you “gotta-do” for points, it should be an opportunity to learn a money-making skill that will serve you well for many years.
