6 Homeland Security Research Paper : Drug Smuggling

Write paper from the perspective of a criminal attempting to smuggle cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamines into the United States.

You are a criminal responsible for bringing cocaine fentanyl and methamphetamines into the United States that has been hidden in counterfeit shoes. Your goal is to smuggle cocaine fentanyl and methamphetamines in through a port of entry on the East Coast of the United.States.

Describe the ways you can accomplish smuggling these drugs and maximize delivery of the three products without getting detected. What steps would you take? What considerations do you need to make? Consider how you will communicate privately, conduct secure financial transactions, hide and secure cargo, create layers of deniability, and recover the product at the destination.

This paper should address many of the following topics related to Homeland Security: Information Sharing & Collaboration, Digital Plat forming & Data, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, Biometrics, Identity Management, Aviation, Port Security Technologies, Telecommunications, & Social Media.

Standards for the Research Paper:

1. The research paper should meet APA standard; in-text citations and references are properly documented in APA format.
2. The paper should be (15) (double-spaced, numbered) pages and 15 scholarly sources.
3. The paper should be organized; each paragraph should flow logically into the next paragraph. Headings and sub-headings should be utilized.
4. Appropriate terminology should be used; writing should be clear and concise.
5. Appropriate font should be used (Times New Roman) and font size (12-point font).
6. The paper should be written in a professional tone. Familiar language should be avoided.

You need to think critically, be creative, and apply the topics related to course material to craft a narrative of your plan for action.
