This assignment requires you to develop a list of structs using the sorted linked list data structure. The program will also maintain the list with transaction data. Please include a comment block as described in the Programming Guidelines in each of the program files. In this assignment, you must use the fourth data structure we covered, a sorted linked List.

1. Explain what constitutes person-focused pay and the advantages and disadvantages for employees of these types of programs. How do these programs vary from merit based programs? 2.Identify and explain the five key factors employers should consider when designing an incentive pay plan. Why are they an important consideration of the process? Do you need all five to be successful? 3. Why is strategic compensation important for the long-term success of a company? Provide detailed steps that company should take to create a long-term strategic compensation plan. 4.Why is it important to design internally consistent compensation systems? Explain how the job analysis process is used to create a compensation system.

Consider the following assumptions for a capital budgeting project. The firm is located in Russia and plans to sell its products to India: Fixed capital investment is 20,000,000 Rub; no investment in net working capital is required. The project has an expected five-year life (Year 0 + 5 years of operations). The fixed capital is depreciated straight-line to zero over a five-year life. Unit sales in Year 1 are normally distributed with a mean of 2,000 and a standard deviation of 200. Unit sales growth after Year 1 is normally distributed with a mean of 4 percent and standard deviation of 6 percent. Assume the same sales growth rate for Years 2–5. The sales price is 3500 Indian Rupee per unit, normally distributed with a standard deviation of 250 Rupee per unit. The same price holds for all five years. Estimate the distribution of exchange rate using historical data for 2001-2020 from Russian Central Bank web-site https://cbr.ru/eng/currency_base/dynamics/ . To find the mean exchange rate in 2021 you can extrapolate average historical growth rate or use exchange rate forecast for 2021 of trustworthy external sources. Describe the method you applied to find the mean exchange rate in 2021 and include the link to external data sources if you used them. Cash operating expenses as a percentage of total revenue in Rubles are normally distributed with a mean and standard deviation of 30 percent and 3 percent, respectively. The annual discount rate is 12 percent and the tax rate is 20 percent.
Solve the following exercises using MS Excel. (Example is attached as a file)
1. Draw the financial model of the project assuming the investments will be made by the end of 2020 (Year 0) and the firm will start operating in 2021. The model should include revenue in Rupees and revenue in Rubles. All other variables except unit sales prices should be in Rubles. You should draw two versions of the model: one with expected values of all input variables and one with random variables generated from distribution parameters described above.
2. What are the NPV, IRR, payback period and discounted payback period (rounded to months: answer should be written like “2 years 9 months”) using the expected values of all input variables?
3. Perform a simulation analysis (10 000 iterations recommended, in case you experience technical difficulties, number of iterations can be reduced) and provide probability distributions for the NPV. Draw the histogram of its distributions. What is the probability of having negative NPV?

The objective of this exercise is to introduce you to the use of topographic maps and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Topographic maps can be used as basic aids to explore landscapes in an indoor setting. Many types of information can be taken off of a typical map sheet and this lab will explore some of those methods. You will be using a map sheet produced by the Government of Canada as part of a national series of general purpose topographic maps. These maps are known as the National Topographic Series (N.T.S.), and show the relief and major features of the Canadian landscape. N.T.S. maps are produced at scales ranging from 1:25,000 to 1:1,000,000. Maps are identified by a title, and by a code number which identifies the map scale and coverage area.
In this exercise, you will use N.T.S. map 21 H/10, which is titled the “Alma” map sheet, and shows the topography and other landscape features for the Chignecto Bay area of the upper Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The map is at a scale of 1:50,000. A detailed legend on the side of the map sheet identifies the various symbols used on the map. Note that all spot heights and contour values on the map sheet are in metres. The locations of features in this exercise are specified using the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Military Grid. This is a rectangular or planar coordinate system printed as a light blue overlay on the map sheet. The video tutorials will teach you how to use them.

2. How much tidal flat is uncovered at low tide on New Horton Flat, from Mary’s Cove to the water’s edge (700635)? (1 mark)
3. Calculate the distance and the elevation change between Beaver Dam Lake (703399) following downstream along Sand River, to the estuary on the coast. Which direction does the Sand River flow? (5 marks)
4. Use these values to calculate the gradient (i.e., slope = rise/run) of the river channel between these two points in m/km and degrees. Note: To calculate slope in degrees you have to first standardize the units that you will be using and then divide the rise over the run. The resulting number is the tangent of the slope. To find the slope in degrees you will have to find the inverse tangent of your number. Think SOH CAH TOA! (tanθ = opposite/adjacent) (2 marks)
5. Using Google Earth, make two placemarks with the “add placemark” tool in UTM Zone 20T at (Placemark 1: 356592.20 m E, 5057241.56 m N) and (Placemark 2: 362911.55 m E, 5053189.11 m N). Now create a path between the two placemarks using the “add path” tool, from Placemark 1 to Placemark 2, name it, and then click OK. Now right click on the path and choose “Show elevation profile” from the menu. By running your cursor along the profile, it will give you spot elevations and distance, along with an arrow showing your position on the map. Use this tool to answer the following questions (17 marks).
i) What are the elevations at these profile distances? 0 km, 2.05 km, 5.89 km, 6.7 km and 7.29 km.
ii) At what distances does Route #114 and Route #915 cross the profile?
iii) Given the Bay of Fundy tides rise at least 5m above mean sea level in this area of the bay, what areas are frequently flooded with sea water? Provide distance measurments along the profile as answers (i.e., from XX km to XX km, at XX km, etc.).
iv) Finally, report the total distance of the profile, along with the total elevation gain and loss of the profile.
Please type all answers in the spaces provided.
