Attend a committee meeting in your health care organization. If you are not currently employed in a health care setting, you may elect to attend a committee meeting at another company, a community center, a local school, local chamber of commerce or other professional organization.

Observe the interactions between committee members and the process used by the committee to arrive at decisions.

In 500-750 words, describe the function of the committee and the roles of those in attendance. Describe your observations of the interactions between members of the committee and determine whether the process used to arrive at decisions is a form of shared governance.

A minimum of two academic references from credible sources are required for this assignment.

  2. Choose a child between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Identify the age of the child and describe the typical developmental stages of children that age.
  3. Applying developmental theory based on Erickson, Piaget, or Kohlberg, explain how you would developmentally assess the child. Include how you would offer explanations during the assessment, strategies you would use to gain cooperation, and potential findings from the assessment.

One of the arguments I often hear about why health care is not a right given to the citizens of the United States is that it was not written into the Constitution or the Bill of Rights as something guaranteed to our citizens. For this assignment I want you to conduct a little research and write a 2 page paper which should include the following:

1- A description of what medicine and health care consisted of in the decade the constitution was written 1780’s-1790’s

2- If you were a contributor to writing the constitution during this time what would be your argument to include health care as a right to all citizens in these important documents?

3- If you were a contributor to writing the constitution during this time how do you think you’d be perceived?  More specifically, would you be considered a responsible and ethical individual or something else?

More recently, this approach has evolved to a Quadruple Aim by including a focus on improving the work life of healthcare providers. Each of these measures are impacted by decisions made at the organizational level, and organizations have increasingly turned to EBP to inform and justify these decisions.

  • Reflect on how EBP might impact (or not impact) the Quadruple Aim in healthcare.
  • Consider the impact that EBP may have on factors impacting these quadruple aim elements, such as preventable medical errors or healthcare delivery.

To Complete:

Write a brief analysis (no longer than 2 pages) of the connection between EBP and the Quadruple Aim.

Your analysis should address how EBP might (or might not) help reach the Quadruple Aim, including each of the four measures of:

  • Patient experience
  • Population health
  • Costs

Write a 3 page (APA, not including title or reference Page) reflective paper about your experience. Specifically address: A) any barriers you encountered in being adherent to your medication regimen

Here is the list of medication that I have been taking as the patient for a week.

1. Captopril 25mg tabs, take by mouth twice a daily.

2. Senokot 8.6 mg tabs, take by mouth twice a daily.

3. Acetaminophen 500mg caps, take by mouth twice daily.

4. Furosemide 40mg tabs, take by mouth daily.

5. Simvastatin 10mg tabs by mouth twice daily.

So my diagnosis for this medication is Congestion heart failure. Based on these medications that am taking

I took these meds for one week. The Furosemide 1 I had to weight myself daily. Started Sunday my weight was 151. 1 Monday 151.4, Tuesday was 151.3, Wednesday 151.5, Thursday 151.0, Friday 151.1 Saturday 150.3.

The Captopril, I had to take my pulse every time I took this med. If less than 60 cannot take it if above 100 cannot take it. Sunday it was 64, Monday 72, Tuesday 68 Wednesday 66 Thursday 70, Friday 78 Saturday 76. Answer these questions
