compensation is one of the largest expenses for organizations

Question

As we continue to stress, compensation is one of the largest expenses for organizations. So management has a

responsibility to ensure a return from this investment. Performance management is a continuous process focused on creating a mutual understanding between the supervisor and employee on job responsibilities and expectations. This process identifies opportunities for employee development, improvements to work flow, and refinement of priorities. Sounds important and it is. But it is not typically something that is done well in organizations.

From your own experience, share an example of a performance management process that works well and why or share an example of a process that does not work well, and why not?

“Marketing is the activity for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that benefit its customers, the organization, its stockholders, and society at large. Marketing seeks to discover the needs and wants of prospective customers as well as satisfy those needs.” Marketing is more about thinking about the customers’ needs and their satisfaction (Kerin, and Hartley 2016, pg.4). Sales is defined as tricks and techniques of getting people to exchange their cash for your products, while marketing develops a demand for the product and fulfils the customers need. They operate as a hand in a glove. Marketing deals with the creative part and sales with the exchange
