ABC Healthcare is fall under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) this is my tips.

Scenario

ABC Healthcare is a startup company with 50 employees. The company’s computer network is shown in Figure 1 below. The healthcare data server contains the company’s records, including copies of patient health records with personally identifiable data, patient billing, company financials, and forms.

You have been hired as the IT network security officer, reporting directly to the chief information officer (CIO). Currently, there is a network administrator who has very limited experience and worked as a desktop technician prior to joining ABC. This network administrator helped set up the existing network. In addition, ABC plans to hire a desktop technician and a website developer/programmer who will report directly to the CIO.

There are no policies or guidelines for employees’ usage of the computers and network. Network setup was done by various vendors, and all of the programs use default usernames and passwords. Wireless access has been set up for staff using wireless laptops. The same wireless access point also provides clients access to the internet. Some staff members bring in their own computers and connect them to the network. Employees use the work systems for personal web browsing and to check personal email accounts.

As part of network security, management set up a video monitoring system throughout the office. Employees are not notified of any monitoring. There is a copier/printer in the front office that is used by employees. Currently, all unused copies are left next to the copier for recycling.

IT 270 Milestone Two Guidelines and Rubric: Site Structure and Navigation Overview: The final project for this course is the creation of a website. Just as it is important to have a high-level plan for the content and rough design of your final project website, it is equally important to plan in a slightly more detailed fashion for the overall site structure and navigation for your site. As a reminder, your final project website should consist of at least five different pages and should showcase most of the features that you will learn throughout the course. Note: You may complete this assignment in a separate Word document. If you choose to do so, be sure to number your responses to match the questions provided in the worksheet. 1. Proposed Site Structural Theme Information on websites at times makes more sense when the pages are arranged in sequences (e.g., sequential ordering in terms of chronology, general to specific content, alphabetically) or in hierarchies (e.g., a landing page “hub,” with the subpage “spokes” extending in no particular order from that hub). While the majority of websites across the internet employ the hierarchical structural theme, there are instances where a more linear and sequenced site structural theme makes more sense. In 2–3 sentences, explain which structural theme you plan to use on your final project website and why you think that is the best approach for your site. 2. Proposed Site Structure In the embedded object below, sketch out a potential structure for your final project website. Remember that your site structure is still very fluid at this point. Be sure to balance logical and feasible considerations when making your choices. You may either select the object, copy/paste to duplicate existing text boxes and lines, and then drag them around to your liking, or you may click on the Insert tab on Word’s ribbon and select the shapes you wish to use under the Shapes menu. A “home page” box linked to a page has already been included to get you started. Home Page Secondary Page 3. Proposed Site Navigation Wireframe In the field below, provide a brief overview of your proposed navigational wireframe. Name at least five specific pages (e.g., Home or About This Site) and provide a brief, 1- to 2-sentence description of what kind of content each page will offer (for example, About This Site informs visitors about the products my uncle’s business sells, along with some company background). You may separate your page names and descriptions with semicolons. Remember, this does not have to be “set in stone” yet. It will likely change as you continue to plan, design, and build your site. Remember to review your instructor feedback on this milestone. As you finalize elements of your site, one of your guidelines for submission is to include basic comments in your code that identify how your work in the milestones and instructor feedback informed key features or function choices on your site. Rubric Guidelines for Submission: Use 12-point Times New Roman font. Instructor Feedback: This activity uses an integrated rubric in Blackboard. Students can view instructor feedback in the Grade Center. For more information, review these instructions. Initial Site Planning

Initial Site Planning

1. FOCUS

It is important for all websites to have a focus on a product or service, even those websites dedicated to a small business—it helps your audience immediately identify what they came looking for. Keeping in mind the scenario as described above, identify the type of business that your “uncle” owns. Briefly describe the focus of the website. What type of business does your “uncle” own? (2–3 sentences)

Proper site planning is significant for the effectiveness of a business website. This initial site planning process is aimed at designing site for my uncle who owns sole proprietorship form of business. The business exclusively deal in retailing information technology devices such television sets, smart phones and electric devices such as electric cooker. The focus of the website is to expand the business by providing online retailing platform for customers to order for goods and services 24 hours in seven days a week.

2. PURPOSE

Once you determine whether you will be highlighting one or more products or services on your “uncle’s” website, you should also have a purpose in mind for highlighting these products/services. Why should visitors (and potential customers) care about these things? Why should a website be built for this business? (2–3 sentences)

The highlighted products are very crucial for households, small and medium businesses since information technology have begun to take a central place in the lives of the people in this era. Potential customers ought to care about the current trends and dynamics of business environments as well as how such technology affect their lives. The website will be used as the tool for reaching out to our customers and bringing the products to their doors as well as educating them on the use and importance to stay relevant.

3. DESIRED RESULTS

Nearly every website is results-oriented. For example, Amazon.com does not want you to leave the site until after you have made a purchase. The same holds true here—what is the result, or the most compelling action, you want visitors to take after visiting your “uncle’s” website?

(2–3 sentences)

The website is designed such that upon visiting by potential customers, they don’t leave without making placing an order for some of the basic office and household items. It is designed in such a way as to inform, remind and persuade customers which leaves them with no option but to place an order for one or two items.

4a. TARGET AUDIENCE

Most websites are created with a target demographic in mind—for example, sites that cover video game news typically include content for, and are designed to appeal to, young men in their late teens and early 20s. Provide a brief description of the target audience you have in mind for your uncle’s website. (1–2 sentences)

The website targets a variety of individuals and groups of individuals at low and middle income levels. The young generation e.g. youths is most targeted and small and medium business as due to the fact that information technology has revolutionized lifestyle and business operations. Lower level income households will now afford relatively cheap household equipment and free delivery.

4b. Sometimes you need to consider the geographical location of your target audience. For example, a website selling mountaineering or orienteering equipment is more likely to target their potential audience living in New England or the Rocky Mountain states. Is this an aspect of your audience you should consider as well? (At minimum, one sentence or less)

Geographical location matters in this website design. We are taking the business to our young generation, young businesses, and young people who mostly are found within colleges and their environments.

4c. Estimated typical number of visitors per month or year (approximate number):

Due to high population of college students in the New York City, we estimated that the number of visitors on my uncle’s website will be 1,000 per day which translates to 30,000 per month and 360,000 visitors per year at bare minimum.
