This assignment explores the application of organizational theory literature to practical case examples of organizational behavior. Assume you have been hired as an outside consultant to prepare an analysis of an organization you are very familiar with from the perspective of applying organizational theory. Assume that your analysis will be presented to the Board of Directors. Research the concept of organizational theory by reviewing at least three scholarly articles on this topic. Select one distinct theory in the literature and write an analysis of how the theory is reflected in the organization.

Make sure to include the following:

1. Identify your selected organization and name the theory.
2. Determine the principles or components of the theory.
3. Predict what the organization would look like based on these principles.
4. Explain the relationship between theory and behavior.

Support your analysis with minimum of five resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages
