THE PLAN FOR GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT

As the final component of its self-study, the institution develops a plan to improve those areas of student performance and organizational capacity that emerged from the self-study as the areas that are the highest priorities for growth and improvement. The protocol requires that the improvement plan has three components:

  • Three, four, or five measurable performance/capacity objectives, two of which must focus on improving areas of student performance;
  • Five-year action plans to achieve the objectives; and
  • A system for monitoring implementation of the action plans and achievement of the performance/capacity objectives.

.

In addition, the institution is asked to develop comprehensive action plans that clearly chart the path to success for those objectives. While the Commission expects that the institution will show continuous progress in its achievement of these objectives, and therefore, expects that the objectives will remain constant over the course of the first five years of the institution’s accreditation term, the nature of planning and growth not only permits, but demands that review and update of action plans happens periodically. For that reason, the objectives are included in this report for future reference, while the action plans are available as part of the institution’s self-study and will undoubtedly be revised occasionally during the course of the next five years.

The institution has identified the performance/capacity objectives it has deemed the highest priorities for improvement in the institution.

The Visiting Team studied the institution’s Plan for Growth and Improvement and, based on the evidence presented in the self-study and the evidence seen and heard during the onsite visit, the Team determines is the institution is in compliance with the Requirements of the Protocol for a Plan for Growth and Improvement.

A. STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

B. ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY OBJECTIVES
