Different people are brought up in different background, hence have similarities and differences in their growth. The first similarity is that all these groups of people are bound to face discrimination. Immigrants face discrimination at different levels. Some of these places include work, school, at the mall or social gathering. The other similarity is the fact that these individuals have left their homes to fend for the family. They leave the comfort of their home to work. The main difference is the level of discrimination. Some immigrants such as those born in the United States do not face much discrimination. The other difference is the cultural differences experienced by the children of unauthorized parents. The culture they understand is their environment, hence do not learn about their heritage.

The first consideration should include employers understanding that people come from different backgrounds. This means that they have different perspectives and beliefs in life. For this reason, they should learn about their basics on the cultural differences to avoid conflict and disrespect of the employees. The second consideration is teaching the workers about their responsibilities. This way they know how to treat patients and prevent misunderstanding each other. Additionally, the training program would be useful in teaching these populations about the importance of being professional and placing the needs of patients before everything else.

I assumed that day laborers experienced congestion in their workplaces. This was corrected by the fact that these populations have available work waiting for them at any time. There are many opportunities, and individuals want to chase their dreams. Unauthorized immigrants rarely look for white-collar jobs; hence, they have odds jobs waiting for them whenever they are interested. The thing about assumptions is that they are created without finding the facts about an issue. In most cases, they have developed from stories that have been read or other people’s perspectives on the given matter. It is unfortunate that people make conclusions about things they do not understand because they do not want to take time to learn.
