• Assessment of bias, stereotypes and prejudice in organizational and leaders’ behaviors

Complete a self-assessment of your organization to identify if they are incorporating the identified components of a culturally competent health care system. 

Answer the following questions:

• Is there an area where your organization excels in achieving cultural competence?
• Have you identified any areas of opportunities where you organization can improve to achieve cultural competence?
• As a healthcare professional, what are your strengths and limitations in achieving cultural competence?

Responses need to address all components of the question, demonstrate critical thinking and analysis, and include peer reviewed journal evidence to support the student’s position.
