Imagine you are a healthcare leader whose role is to develop a department strategic plan suitable for the senior leadership team that will address those items intended to enhance the operational aspects of your department for the upcoming year.
Aside from the typical components of a healthcare strategy, this 3-year strategic plan should include the following:
- Address challenges (e.g., day-to-day operational processing, conflict resolution, data reporting) and highlight the strategies to overcome them.
- Consider any new healthcare reform(s) affecting your healthcare industry; also highlight your strategy to accommodate or comply with them.
- Consider any technology that may be acquired and training required for staff.
Support your strategic plan with a minimum of seven scholarly sources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
Length: 12-15 pages, not including title and reference pages
Your strategic plan should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
