We plan to except the hypothesis, “Playing violent video games will increase a child’s aggression”.  Therefore, the following statement should also be true: If children do not play violent video games their aggression will not increase. In addition, the working hypothesis and the contrapositive hypothesis are conditional. The first statement is quite easy to analyze and is carried out by evaluating children while playing violent video games and measuring their aggression level. We measure the level of aggression because the level of aggression is the dependent variable. In this study our independent variable is the violent games. The entire population sample group consisted of students from the same general community, ages ranging from 12-18. We used a method stratified random sampling.
