Your research proposal will be submitted in 2 parts.
In this first part of your proposal, you will include:
1. A problem statement that provides context/background to your problem (this can be adapted from Assessment 2.)
2. Research objectives.
3. Research question (s) or hypothesis
• Your research question must be presented as a ‘researchable question’
Depending on your project, you can include a primary and secondary question(s) or a hypothesis.
3. A literature review
• Select at least 10 primary research articles.
• Describe your search strategy, including key words, search findings and databases used.
• Discuss the major themes derived from the literature.
• Identify the gaps that have you found.
• To conclude this part of the proposal – you must a statement(s) as to how the literature provides a justification for your proposed study.
