You work for a small startup company as an IT consultant. Your job is to analyze the Mac OS, Linux OS, and Windows OS to determine which is best for the organization. Instructions: In a 3–5 page proposal to your client, complete the following tasks: Identify a real or mock small business startup company and describe the company, its industry, core competencies, and the management team. Compare and contrast the Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Compare the speed, ease for installation, ease of use, and security of the operating systems. Identify business requirements including the company’s expectations for the operating system and their primary goals. (Speed? Stability? Security?) Recommend an operating system for your client to use moving forward. Provide justification for your recommendation. In this assignment you may assume that cost is not a factor in making the recommendation: look at the merits of each OS as they relate to the course. Your proposal should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner, and should demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources (i.e. APA); and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
