The two problems youchoose to discuss in this journal should be debatable.  This means that they have logical arguments on both sides of them.  (argument/counterargument).  They also must be researchable and related to your field of study.

Follow this example when you set up your journal. 

First Paragraph- In 5-8 sentences, explain the two sides to your first issue.  Explain your side and why you are interested in the subject. (Example: Two sides to the issue of Physician Assisted Suicide)

Second Paragraph- In 5-8 sentences explain the two sides of your second issue.  Explain your side and why you are interested in the subject. (Example: Two Sides to the Issue of Vaccines and whether they should be mandatory)

Third and Fourth Paragraph- Explain the importance of persuasion for the topic you are most likely to go with.  Why do you think it is important for people to consider your side?  Who would your audience be for this topic? Why do you think it is important to convince the audience that your view is best?
