Keep it professional. Use proper capitalization. Don’t use text-speak. Because IDK, LOL, and BFFs don’t translate across all audiences.

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin Durham and I look forward to getting to meet all of you but first let me introduce myself. Being an Arizona native I enjoy getting out in the sun and enjoying the outdoors when the heat isn’t to intense. My educational background consists of a bachelor’s in business administration from the W.P Carey school of business from Arizona State University. This has shown me the impact of great customer service can have on a company which I have used in previous work environments that have produce higher revenues as a result. Coming from a large family of eight and being the youngest this has taught me the values of effectively communicating with others which is key in any work place environment to one on one discussions to group activities. The academic world has shown me that we can all learn from another by sharing our strengths as well as our flaws. My goal in any work place environment is to learn everyone’s name by the first month. This is not an easy task, but it shows rather than tells the commitment that I bring to the table. Thank you all for letting me introduce myself and I look forward to getting to know all of you in the upcoming weeks
