Many posit that the deaths of unarmed people at the hands of law enforcement
officers over the last few years are the result of law enforcement training that has framed the prevention of crime as engaging in warfare, such as the “war on drugs, terrorism,” and so forth. Do you agree or disagree? Is the current paradigm that law enforcement officers are warriors? Should this be the paradigm moving forward? Why, or why not?
