This question is fairly open ended in order to shed light into an important methodology in cultural anthropology: comparative methods. What are the similarities you notice between the two? What are the differences? Be specific.
Compare and Contrast: Political Systems
This question is fairly broad so as to better acquaint you with an important methodology in cultural anthropology—comparative methods. Choose one political system with which you are not familiar (band, tribe, chiefdom, city-state, nation-state, or empire) and compare it to a political system under which you live or with which you are quite familiar.
