Guidelines for the Project Class Presentation

Students are asked to select “Occupational Health and Safety’ .from Healthy People 2020.

You presentation should include an overview of the goal for the

“Occupational Health and Safety”,

the current issues,

trends,

disparities,

opportunities and progress made on the objectives for the achievement of goal.

You should also comment on what is happening in your own community in this focus area

what you are seeing in your own healthcare agency.

The presentation should also address what the implications are of your findings for Clinical Nurse Leaders.

Your presentation should once again be done in a narrated PowerPoint and include a reference list of materials you reviewed.

Your presentation should also include audience participation in that you should include some prompts about how you would like your classmates to respond to you in the Healthy People Discussion Board.

Presentations should be approximately 20 minutes in length and placed both on the Healthy People 2020 Assignment tab and the Healthy People

Visit Health People www.healthypeople.gov and download your “Occupational Health and Safety”.

Grading Criteria

The grading criteria will include the

following:

Adherence to the content guidelines provided above. 40 points

Quality and timeliness (how recent is the research) of your reference

materials – should be evidence-based.

Critical Thinking evident in the presentation content & implications for

Clinical Nurse Leaders.

Inclusion of audience in terms of prompts regarding how you would like

them to respond to your presentation
