Write a 175- to 265-word response to the following:What are some effective resources to support employees in lifespan management? What is your role as a manager to provide support to employees? Provide examples.Read and respond to the two discussion posts below. Be constructive and professional with your thoughts, feedback, or suggestions.1. As a manager currently in lifespan management I think that we have quite a good support system set up for our employees. We offer great benefits which include mental health assistance if needed. This is a big deal to me since working with the aging population is not an easy job and requires so much of not only a physical commitment but a emotional one as well. We find ourselves very attached to our residents and when they get sick, go on hospice or pass away it takes a toll on us just like we are their family. In some places you are not supposed to take it personally and you are required to keep on working no matter what. We do not feel like that is the best way to help our employees and to keep them from getting burnout. We offer a help line to talk about anything they want if they feel sad. We also offer something called an integrity line. This allows employees to report anything they feel needs attention at a higher level of management. They can remain anonymous. The corporate office will then put an investigation in place the same day. This has helped our employees to feel listened to. Sometimes people do not feel comfortable reporting things in person or to their superior. This allows them to have an outlet. We also offer many incentives for attendance, taking on extra shifts as well as employee of the month. I think all of these programs keep the employee engaged and feeling appreciated. This is very important in this line of work. We offer paid time off on each paycheck that can be accrued and used as they feel needed. Another thing we offer is mental health days. You can ask for up to a week if you feel you are getting overwhelmed in your job duties. You simply request a mental health leave. It is not counted against you and the company requires they have access to these days. I think we have great programs available to our employees.2. As an employee, I know what kind of support I would have liked to have received from my managers. As a manager, I hope to provide support for my own staff. Our reading mentions seven different approaches to provide support to caregivers. These include, “education and training, better usage of technology for care coordination, family-inclusive care management, recognition of their skills and knowledge, improved responsiveness to requests of family caregivers in crisis, enrichment of personal support, and improvement of benefits for family caregivers who have jobs” (McSweeney-Feld, Molinari,

The information gained from such statistical analyses help managers optimize resource allocation and reduce process time, which in turn often improves profit margins and customer satisfaction. Based on your understanding of the characteristics of the normal distribution, examine the chart below. Process A standard deviation is .9, Process B standard deviation is 1.4, and the mean of both processes is 12. Contribute to our discussion by posting a response to ONE of the questions below. 1. (4×3 5 = 17 points) Agricultural economists analyzed
Question 1. (4×3 5 = 17 points) Agricultural economists analyzed wine demand at a restaurant to evaluate the impact of objective factors (e.g., origin, varietal), sensory descriptors, and price, on the choice of restaurant wines. The predictor variables are the wine features and the response variable is a count of the number of bottles of each wine sold in each week over the study period. Below is the coefficients table for fitting a Poisson regression model to the data. a) The estimated coefficient for “Price” is -0.084, which means that if price increases by $1 (holding all else constant), then the natural logarithm of the expected quantity sold decreases by 0.084. Thus, expected quantity sold is multiplied by exp(-0.084) = 0.920 = 92%. Does this result agree with standard economic theory about the general relationship between demand and price? Briefly explain your answer.b) The estimated coefficient for the “Lowest price indicator” is negative, which means that if a wine has the lowest price in its category on the menu, then the expected quantity sold is lower than other, more expensive wines (after accounting for the other predictors). [Diners could be avoiding the cheapest wine to appear more selective or magnanimous when choosing a wine.] The “By the glass indicator” has the value 1 for wines that are available for purchase by the glass. Do the results indicate that such wines tend to have higher or lower demand than wines that are only available for purchase by the bottle (after accounting for the other predictors)? Justify your answer.c) The predictors marked in blue are indicator variables for the wine varietal, relative to the reference level “California Chardonnay.” Which varietal is the most popular (after accounting for the other predictors)? Justify your answer.d) The predictors marked in green are indicator variables for sensory descriptors listed on the menu. Which sensory descriptors tend to result in increased demand (after accounting for the other predictors)? Justify your answer.e) Calculate the Wald Z test statistic for testing if the coefficient for “Citrus indicator” is zero. Test if the coefficient is zero using α = 0.05. Remember to write the hypotheses, test statistic, p-value, decision, and conclusion. ATTACHMENT PREVIEW Download attachment table.PNG

Question 1. (6 3×3 2×4 = 23 points) The board of directors of a professional association conducted a random sample survey of 30 members to assess the effects of several possible changes in membership dues. The predictor Xi denotes, in dollars, the change in annual dues from the previous year posited in the survey interview to the i-th subject, so, for example, if Xi = 10, then the board is proposing a $10 increase in dues, if Xi = 0, then there is no change. The response is binary with Yi = 1 if the interviewee indicated that the membership will NOT be renewed at that amount of change in dues and Yi = 0 if the membership will be renewed. The output for fitting the logistic regression model is given below. Use this to answer the following questions. a) Write the estimated equation, as a function of X, for: i. The log-odds of not renewing membership; ii. The odds of not renewing membership; iii. The probability of not renewing membership.b) Estimate the probability that someone does not renew membership when annual dues increase $22.c) Estimate the odds that someone does not renew when the annual dues increase by $22.d) Estimate the odds that someone DOES renew when annual dues increase $22.e) Estimate the increase in annual dues for which 75% of the members are expected to not renew their association membership.f) Conduct a Wald test to determine whether an increase in dues is related to the probability of membership renewal. In your answer, state the null and alternative hypotheses, the test statistic, p-value, and conclusion based on (1) α = 0.05 and (2) α = 0.1. ATTACHMENT PREVIEW Download attachment hw 10.PNG
I have the following problem, and I have figured out
Question I have the following problem, and I have figured out the null hypothesis and the alternate hypothesis and have them listed below. So, for my conclusion, with Winco having a mean of 2.30 and Walmart 2.74, I answered the following question. Does this mean that I accept the Alternative Hypothesis which is Winco (u1) < Walmart (u2) based on the mean score? This is my question and answer. What is the conclusion of your analysis? The conclusion of the analysis is that the mean price of Winco at 2.30 is less than the mean price of Walmart at 2.74.Therefore, I reject the Null hypothesis and accept the Alternative hypothesis. ProblemWinCo Foods, a large Discount grocery retailer in the western United States, promotes itself as the lowest priced grocery retailer. In newspaper ads WinCo Foods published a price comparison for products between WinCo and several competing grocery retailers. One of the retailers compared against WinCo was Walmart, also known as a low-price competitor. WinCo selected a variety of products, listed the price of the product charged at each retailer, and showed the sales receipt to prove the prices at WinCo were the lowest in the area. A sample of the products and their prices comparison at both WinCo and Walmart are shown in the following table:Item WinCo Wal Mart Bananas 0.42 0.56 Red Onions 0.58 0.98 Mini Peeled Carrots 0.98 1.48 Roma Tomatoes 0.98 2.67 Deli Tater Wedges 1.18 1.78 Beef Cube Steak 3.83 4.12 Beef Top Round London Boil 3.48 4.12 Pillsbury Devils Food Cake Mix 0.88 0.88 Lipton Rice and Sauce Mix 0.88 1.06 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale 12.68 12.84 Gm Cheerios Oat Clusters 1.98 2.74 Charmin Bathroom Tissues 5.98 7.48 Bumble Bee Pink Salmon 1.58 1.98 Pace Thick
