It is surprising that students pay substantial tuition fees then decide not to attend classes. They spend time doing other things in and out of campus and only go to class to do their exams. Students have time for other activities such as sports, music lessons, social responsibilities, and drama clubs, but do not create time for formal studies. Lecturers can decide to use webcasts or podcasts to deliver lecture notes to the students to give them time to read ahead of the class. This gives the students an opportunity to learn ahead and have questions about parts they did not understand. Lectures become tedious and tiresome as the instructors want to cover as much as possible within a short time. The webcasts or podcasts give students time to study at their leisure, hence making them have a better understanding of the topic. Class time would be used for more hands-on activities such as asking questions and getting ideas from the rest of the class. This allows students to interact with one another and create a fun studying environment. Additionally, the uses of instructional media save lecture hours that can be used to revise on the subject and ready the students for their exams. There are some things said in a lecture that cannot be found in books. With podcasts and webcasts, the student would have a copy of the lecture throughout the semester, which he/she can use for referrals, on things ……………………
