Sociology question
In this lesson, your goal is to brainstorm topics related to sociology that will help you to narrow down the focus of your paper. Here are some ideas to stimulate your brainstorming: – Study popular culture. For two days, record whatever evidence of the dominant culture you see on the Internet or in literature, music, movies, theater, television programs, and sporting events. – Pick a foreign film, television program, or Internet site and study it from the point of view of a sociologist. What does it tell you about the culture that produced it? – Choose a social movement that you are interested in and do some research on it. If possible, visit with members of the movement in your local community. To solidify your interest in a sociology-related topic, type several search words into a Web search engine or a search engine within the Online Campus Library (LIRN) and review several resources that can assist you with completing your project. Keep track of where you find the resources as you can use them to complete the rest of this project. After you have made your final topic selection, submit the following to your instructor for feedback: 1. 2-3 sociology-related topics that interest you. 2. One paragraph (minimum 75 words each) for each topic that summarizes why they interest you.
