Thus,the Bible has a positive and negative side while using it as a treatment. In the case of George, he might have had positive experiences in the Church that makes in rely on the Bible. The use of the Bible is utilizing to instruct George,such as verses to overcome fears ,for behavioral management and cognitive therapy.For example;Gegorge called his instructor to start practicing his pilot lessons and learning to flirt, but the pilot was so busy that he was not able to start the lessons and George believes that he is a loser. ” One highlight a common REBT written exercise that might be helpful in addressing George’s irrational belief”…. The use of Bible verse is another technique to help George changing his beliefs. The case of George,demonstrated that the word of God is effective when treating Christian clients that demanding integration of spiritual resources as their treatment. Reflection  After carefully reviewed this article,I begin to understand that the Bible is a remedy that is very effective and that it is often used as a guide and it can be taught in the therapy session. I would love to see more about the techniques.There should be a future research about the effects of using the Bible as references to cure change ones prospective.For example,the author mentioned that the use of prayer is a good technique to help George but does not elaborate the strategies of prayer and verses to accompany prayer.I also would like to know the way George reacts to this technique and the effects of using in sessions. George already knows as a Christian prayer is one of the elements to communicate with God,The authors describes few techniques that is efficient to help the client with his beliefs,the REBT and the seven column technique,these techniques are used to help the client, but in this article,I do not know much about these techniques ,their effects on George and the strategies and consequences of using both techniques during sessions. Other studies must be conducted to better understand the use of these techniques. There should be another research to discuss the use of scripture in treatment since there is a cultural and ethical issues while using biblical resources in treating. The article does not explain much about the client, I only know that his father consumed alcohol and that he was a victim of it until he become depressed. However, I do not know a lot about this client. I only know that he is a Caucasian, a male, but do not know a lot about his sibling and the way they handle his situation.
