many years to come. Organizations see the benefit they are getting when experienced project managers use best practices as published in the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is certification worth obtaining if you seek to become a project manager and have a desire to lead projects. It is required by most organizations as they look for qualified candidates to hire. When I was in graduate school in 2000 there were approximately 60,000 PMPs in the world, as reported by the PMI at the time. After careful research find out how many PMPs are in the world today? How many PMPs are being certified each month?
