This week is all about “-isms”…post-impressionISM, cubISM, pointillISM, fauvISM,

surrealISM, feminISM, fascISM, communISM, Harlem RenaissancISM (okay, I made that one up, but I can’t overlook Harlem Renaissance movement!).

1. Find/choose a piece of art (can include literature, music, and architecture as well) that embodies/reflects one of the above movements (find one YOU like!).

2. Include the name of the piece, the name of the creator, the name of the movement it embodies, and a link to the image if it is a piece of art or architecture…even a link to the song if you can manage that!

3. Explain why you chose the piece, what you like about it, and how it reflects the ideals of the “-ism” movement to which it is associated.
