To manage these concerns, leaders must understand their organization’s technology systems, how they have evolved, and how they affect information and the knowledge workers in the organization and its context.

Select an organization to serve as the basis for all assignments in this course. You may select your current organization or an alternative organization with which you are familiar.

Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper describing the technology systems in your selected organization. Include an explanation to support how the evolution of technology systems in an organization might affect information management and knowledge workers. For example, the systems that your organization used 20 years ago might be significantly different than the systems in use today.

Include a minimum of three scholarly, peer-reviewed sources and any relevant information from the course textbooks to support your writing.
