Okay, if you will be taking courses in July, you will experience the “cold turkey” approach, when DeVry moves from eCollege to Canvas for their Learning Management System. Have you as students heard about this yet?
I went through this at another university and the school explained that direct installation was a must since the new courses would only be loaded into Canvas, not eCollege. Parallel installation would require professors to post and grade in two systems for the same course. It would also be confusing if students made some posts in each system.
Other examples, Class, where direct installation approach would be required, and the other approaches were/are not feasible?
