If they would have done a line-up, either live or picture, then I do not think the husband would be able to pick someone given the fact that he only had a quick look at the suspect’s face. I was also very frustrated that the officers picked up the first black male they saw and called him the suspect. With the broad description given by the husband, the officers should have asked other eyewitnesses or looked for cameras in the area. Anything other than picking up the first person they saw would have been better.
