A paper you can check to see if an argument is sound in two steps.  First, you convert it symbols and look at

the relevant truth tables.  (Make sure that you point out what you are looking for on the relevant truth tables.)  Second, if it is valid, you must look at each premise to figure out whether it is true.

You are also going to point out a special little trick for seeing if something is valid.  Hint:  is has something to do with logical equivalence.
