a. What technology is? In September 2018, the Apple Company took a tremendous technological step that benefits the health care sector with the launch of the Electrocardiogram ECG application that notified irregular heart rhythm. This application can detect and report irregularities in the heart rhythm such as atrial fibrillation (AFib), which can cause strokes or blood clots, also unusual heart rhythm, low or high heart rate (www.apple.com). b. How and why you believe it will improve patient outcomes and/or improve the delivery of health care. According to the Apple website, its goal is to improve medical care through monitoring offered by the application. The software will allow patients and providers to monitor and share data because the patient can download in PDF format the electrocardiogram report to shows to its healthcare provider (www.apple.com). Further, It is a reality that today’s society is very attached to its electronic devices, we carry our smartphones and smartwatch everywhere, and this allows constant monitoring and can help save lives. I believe that this application can help patients not only to receive abnormalities in their heart rate but also to improve their lifestyle and promote empowerment and commitment to their health. Many times patients go to doctors, and the provider shows the results to the patient, but the patient fails to understand their state of health until it is too late. However, when your smartwatch literally turns the screen on red and notifies you that something is happening in your heart, the patient will become aware and start making changes in their lifestyle. Also, according to Deal. 2018, the patient will be able to inform his/her doctor so he can order a professional electrocardiogram; the doctor will be able to be informed of the cardiac abnormalities and detect early any abnormalities in the patient’s heart (www.hackernoon.com). The interpretation of construction professionals in BIM efficiency. A case study betwwen UK and US construction Companies
This is a research dissertation about Building Information Modelling efficiency. The questionnaire(primarily data, quantitative method) was conducted to 14 construction professionals working in UK construction companies and 7 construction professionals working in US construction companies. The marking breakdown: -Presentation 10%, Literature review 30%, – Analysis and Investigation 30%, – Conclusions and Recommendations 20%. The similarity must not be over than 14 % and the words number must not exceed 10000 words, otherwise, I will be penalised with 10%. THE MAIN STRUCTURE OF THE DISSERTATION IS: – Introduction, -Literature review, Data Collection and Methods, -Data Analysis, -Discussion, -Conclusions.Instructions:–In Literature Review(3000 words, 18-22 references), it must be identified:- how other professionals used B.I.M.,?-what did they find about BIM efficiency?-what is missing? (Literature Gap)-how a professional regards whether BIM is efficient or not?–Data Collection and Methods –>(1000-2000 words, 10 references)–In Data Collection, it must be presented:-Who I have Conducted? (21 participants of UK and US constr. companies, see attached interviews)-What kind of research was conducted?-How did the interviewees explain their data analysis to my research?–In Methods, it must be explained:-Which methods were used?-Why and how did I use it?-Where did I get this method?-Who has used it before? (from Literature Review)-How did that help to answer my questions?-Why did I choose this instead of others?–In Data Analysis( 1000 words, No references), it must be presented:-What we found out? -How we analysed the answers to the questions-There must be a thematic analysis (see the attached example–> Building Inclusive markets In rural Bungladesh)–In Discussion(2000 words, 12-15 references):- We must connect what we found in data analysis with Literature Review Gaps-We must identify how this data helped me answer each question and how it can compare with LIterature Review–In conclusions(500-1000 words, 4-5 references),-you must conclude, propose solutions, based on literature gaps, answer the questions and make proposals from your point of view, based on analysis and Literature Review.(Satisfying the marker that we have answered all questions clearly) In conclusion, you must avoid writing the abstract of what you wrote in the statement and analysed in the analysis but you must refer what you found out of this theory! That s the part that many students lose marks–In the introduction, you must describe -what you are going to describe and what you will try to find out( for that reason it would be better if you write it after writing the main part and conclusions) (How people feel and interpret about BIm effciency)–In appendix, We must write the questionnaire and a transcript which are attached

Read the Instructions carefully. The subject is Religious studies Checklist for Final Paper/Project Title and Heading (either on a title page, on the first page of text or first slide) Thesis statement in your introductory paragraph. I have posted several links about developing your thesis and final paper in the Final Paper Folder. Please use these resources! Support for your thesis (this means that you introduce and work with scholarly material that supports your claim) 6 pages double-spaced 12-point standard font (Times New Roman) and standard margins (Remember that your Works Cited page is included in this page count, so you need to have about 5 pages of writing) or the equivalent amount of work in a PowerPoint presentation…about 10 slides. Approximately 4 scholarly sources (no Wikipedia, no facts.com, and no online websites in general, unless they are associated with universities or research centers, museums, etc.) You have to do some research—use the ASU library, many of the resources are online! Works Cited page (this is where you list the sources you used for your paper) Use the citation system you are most comfortable with: Chicago, Turabian, MLA, APA, just be consistent. Double check your paper to be sure that you give proper credit to any quotes, summaries, or paraphrasing of material. Grading Ranges An ‘A’ range paper or project is one that meets all the criteria above, that has been run through spell and grammar check, introduces an interesting thesis, supports that thesis with strong thinking, specific examples, and excellent writing, and considers counter-arguments when it makes sense to do so. A ‘B’ range paper or project meets the basic criteria but does not go as deeply into the material or struggles to support the thesis. The writing is good, but not great. A ‘C’ range paper or project does not meet all criteria, struggles to present a clear thesis and/or to support a coherent argument. The writing is poor or uneven, wanders off topic, and has not been edited. A ‘D’ paper or project does not meet basic criteria but show some effort. A failing paper or project is one that you do not submit! Please turn in a paper or project. Contact me sooner, rather than later, if you are having issues researching or writing your paper or project or having any other issues with late work! I am here to help you succeed. You may research and write a paper that falls within the topics and themes of our course or you may choose to produce a creative work that lies at one of these junctures. Your (un-essay) project must be academically sound and equivalent to the paper option in terms of time, effort, and substance.

Read the scenario on p. 283 of Positive Psychology. (see below) Write a 1,050 word paper including the following: Describe, in detail, the thoughts and emotions you felt while imagining the scenario. If you did experience this event, how do you think you would handle the final moments? If you did experience this event, how would you describe your life up to this point? In what ways can traumatic events be opportunities for growth? Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines. Death scenario Imagine that you are visiting a friend who lives on the 20th floor of an old, downtown apartment building. It’s the middle of the night when you are suddenly awakened from a deep sleep by the sound of screams and the choking smell of smoke. You reach over to the nightstand and turn on the light. You are shocked to find the room filling fast with thick clouds of smoke. You run to the door and reach for the handle. You pull back in pain as the intense heat of the knob scalds you violently. Grabbing a blanket off the bed and using it as protection, you manage to turn the handle and open the door. Almost immediately, a huge wave of flame and smoke pours into the room, knocking you back and literally off your feet. There is no way to leave the room. It is getting very hard to breathe and the heat from the flames is almost unbearable. Panicked, you scramble to the only window in the room and try to open it. As you struggle, you realize that the old window is virtually painted shut around all the edges. It doesn’t budge. Your eyes are barely open now, filled with tears from the smoke. You try calling for help but the air to form the words is not here. You drop to the floor hoping to escape the rising smoke, but it is too late. The room is filled top to bottom with thick fumes and nearly entirely in flames. With your heart pounding, it suddenly hits you, as time seems to stand still, that you are literally moments away from dying. The inevitable unknown that was always waiting for you has finally arrived. Out of breath and weak, you shut your eyes and wait for the end.
Week 6 | Discussion Collapse
Week 6 | Discussion Collapse Feeding the World As Hite and Seitz (2016) show in Chapter 3: Food, there is enough food produced and available to feed the entire world every day. However, for various reasons, millions still go hungry, making food security—having consistent access to adequate nutritional food—a persistent global social problem in both developing and developed countries. Where do most of the world’s hungry live? What are two causes of hunger and two problems that result? What are some potential consequences and benefits to using biotechnologies in developing countries? Based on the research currently available, should developing countries pursue the use of biotechnologies? Why or why not?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the development of computer systems that are able
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the development of computer systems that are able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. Many of these tasks include speech, decision-making, and translation between languages. Artificial intelligence is not only growing rapidly in everyday life, but rapidly improving the healthcare industry. As we continue to improve quality patient care, AI plays an important role. The AMA Journal of Ethics discusses how artificial intelligence can be applied to any field of medicine. “AI can serve roles in diagnosis, clinical decision making, and personalized medicine. For example, AI-based diagnostic algorithms applied to mammograms are assisting in the detection of breast cancer, serving as a “second opinion” for radiologists”(2019). Furthermore, AI can reduce and mitigate risk of preventable medication scenarios by automated reminders for patients, identify people at high risk for medical intervention, and deliver personalized dosage recommendations. For example, artificial intelligence can “[discover] those in need of medical intervention and trigger medical staff alerts to create custom care plans” (Reddy, 2019). Although there are advantages and disadvantages in AI, I believe artificial intelligence will provide us with ways to improve quality patient care by diminishing the margin for error. For example, before administering a blood pressure medication, artificial intelligence will remind us to check the patient’s blood pressure and pulse. If the patient numbers are within parameters of physician orders we can administer the medication. Artificial intelligence is providing us with an extra safety measure to make sure we are providing patient safety and quality care to our patients. Furthermore, artificial intelligence can improve patient centered care by eliminating time consuming tasks such as clinical documentation and order entry. Not only does artificial intelligence help medical staff members, but it is beneficial for patients as well. Patients can improve their health through AI by using virtual health systems. An example of this is Virta Health, “an artificial intelligence diabetes coach that prompts patients to enter data about their glucose levels, mood, blood pressure, and other vital aspects of health” (“Artificial Intelligence Read About Growing Healthcare Use”, 2018). Artificial intelligence will provide us with ways to decrease health risks in patients and improve patient care overall. References Artificial Intelligence | Read About Growing Healthcare Use.
