that is not a general-purpose workstation, desktop, or laptop computer. It is a specialized computer system that is part of a larger system or a machine.  Embedded systems are used in many places, such as automobiles.

b)   What functions of a normal desktop or laptop operating system would NOT be found in such an embedded system?
