2. How does the story Fritz Glatman, by Linh Dinh expose “white supremacy” through Fritz, a middle-aged White man who is “toying with the idea of securing an Asian woman, a mail order bride” (Dinh 51). With specific examples, discuss Fritz’s attitude towards Asian women and culture.
3. Discuss how in the story, “The Dill Peddler”, by Thanhha Lai, Ba Nam is portrayed as a defiant and courageous woman who has always lived her life on her own terms, in Vietnam and now in America.
4. How does the story, “Nobody Knows” by Quang Bao portray the father and mother’s deliberate effort to erase their son’s gay identity? With specific examples discuss the father and mother’s total disregard for their gay son’s life.
