The topic I havechosen for my final paper is the Auditory Scene Analysis in Chapter 12. I takeparticular interest in Auditory because I am interested in the analysis of howour brain is transmitting and receiving information. The importance of Auditoryin our society has a perception of nature and sound produced by human voices,instruments, and background noises tend to be limited to one tone. Thesurprising thing to me is how we tend to believe that we hear only one tone,but realistically we are able to many different tones or noises in order toeliminate certain noises like if you were at a concert and talking to someone.If we think about it when we are engaged in a conversation, you will tune outall the noises around you to only focus on the visual and auditory that you arehaving.
