  • Choose from one of the Islamic finance related topics below and write a reflective style essay on the chosen topic by linking with current contemporary issues, summary of opinions of Academic and Shari’ah scholars and making reference to relevant viewpoints from journals or books. A number of relevant resources in the form of books and journal articles have been provided for you in soft copy format on your Islamic Investment Banking virtual classroom at the BIBF MyClass online platform.
  • Below are the topics that students can choose from for the essay:

    2. Innovative Types of Sukuk
    3. Integrating Technology in Islamic Investment Banking
  • The word limit for the essay is 3,000 words (excluding graphs, tables and the reference list). You must state the word count for your work on the cover page of the assignment.
  • A class presentation delivered online is expected. This will be delivered on the last 2 sessions of the class.
