Assignment Overview:

For this assignment, you will explain the conditions for successful analytics and an action plan for Business Intelligence in the course of a new product launch. List and discuss the strategic planning activities that need to take place. Discuss some of the project management considerations and key ethical considerations you see emerge in the context of building, reporting, and using Business Intelligence in a commercial operation.

• Week 1: Discuss major considerations and obstacles for building an analytics-driven culture in your company/organization.
• Week 2: Discuss some of the project management considerations you see emerge in the context of building, reporting, and using Analytics in an organization.
• Week 3: List and discuss the tactical and strategic planning activities that need to take place for the creation of a successful Analytics organization.   
• Week 4: Analyze key ethical considerations that emerge in the context of building, reporting, and using Analytics in an organization. 
• Week 5: Discuss how telling a story and data visualization by using examples from Tableau and Watson can contribute to successful data driven decision making.
• Week 6: Final draft due
