Most Correctional agencies have a code of conduct (ethics). <br/>

A common provision in a code of conduct is that an employee will not accept or give anything of value from/to an inmate.

You are a correction officer in a jail. Inmates in the jail frequently complain that it is too cold, in the housing units. The administration has policies that govern inmate clothing and property; due to the many complaints all inmates have been issued an extra blanket (this is a temporary exception to the existing policy).

Your next door neighbor, whom you have known since you were a child, has a son currently incarcerated in the jail. The son was a childhood friend. The mother approaches you and asks that you deliver a sweatshirt to her son, which she will purchase. She explains that she believes that her son is ill, and that she fears he will become worse due to the temperature in the cell block.

How would you handle this situation?

According to valid emerging research, psychopathy may have genetic
