Respond to at least two colleagues by providing additional or alternative ways to respond to the stereotypes and assumptions identified by your colleagues in the Johnson case. Provide additional or alternative ways social workers can address these assumptions and advocate for social change related to sexism while collaborating with other professionals to address the needs of clients.

1When it comes to sexual assault, especially in the military, many belieye that only women are or can be
rapped. According to our text, "less man 1 percent of rapes are committed by females"{Adam et. al__.
2013}. I do not necessary think that is true because I think a guy would be scared to report a rape more
than a female. Also there are different stereotypes surrounding sexual assault when it comes to why and
how it happened. Some people think that due to me way a female is dressed that she was asking for it, if
someone say no in the middle of sex then it isn’t rape, or if she was drinking then she knew what she
was doing and only said rape because she was embarrassed. Some of the these stereotypes was shown
by the representative that called the social worker when she used such language such as “ supposedly
happened, giyen or drink herself and who knows" (Laureate, 2013}- WhEn it comes to social workers in a
situation like this, I think it is important to show the ciient that you are there for them no matter what. A
social worker can show this by showing empathy, giying support and adyocating for them no matter if
the victim is male or female [Adams, et. al., 2’013}. Also Hhink if the social worker runs into someone
that is stereotyping a 1.rictim of rape then they can educated that person and put it into perspectiyefor them by saying if it was them would they want someone making it seem like they were lying?
