Impacts Of Global Business Environment On Structure And Culture

Question Description

ASSIGNMENT information PLEASE READ:
1.The submission is in the form of a group (2 candidates) written report and individual student presentation.

  1. This should be written in a concise, formal business style using single spacing and font size 12.
  2. You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs and subsections as appropriate, and all work must be supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system.

4.The student must submit the PPT presentation with a minimum of 10 slides and a maximum of 15 slides. The slides should be short and concise. Each student will be given a presentation time of 20 minutes.
5.The written group report file must be saved in the format: student ID-GBE-Formative/Summative-A2 and presentation must be saved in the format: student ID_GBE_Formative/Summative_PPT_A2. Both the presentation and group work has to be uploaded to turnitin.
6.The recommended word limit is 3000 – 3500 words, +/- 10%, excluding the bibliography. Assignments which exceed the word limit will not be evaluated.

You are expected to read the case and write a group report on the “Global market influences on organizational structure, culture and functions”, followed by an independent presentation by each member of the team, based on the group report.
The successful completion of your work requires the team to critique strategies that can be adopted by organizations like DBK Technitherm operating in a global business environment, making valid and justified recommendations of how they should adapt their organizational structure and decision making process based on the case provided in assignment brief 1, “The ups and downs of manufacturing in Wales”. The student has the choice to choose DBK Technitherm Ltd or any other similar organization operating in the same field in Wales.
