Human resource management (HRM) has evolved from primarily focusing on the traditional approach of managing employees, to incorporating new approaches to well manage their employees. There are many issues which influence this paradigm shift.
Researchers identify three main issues which lead to the change at the work place. The issues namely are aging work force, a diverse work force and skills deficiencies of the work force (Noe, Hollenbeck and Wright, 2009).
