in technology can affect leadership and ethics.Leadership often governed by some form of ethics.Ethics could be the values that a leader holds and acts according to those values whilst carrying out charged duty.Advancement in technology has its merits.However it often brings about new opportunities.People In leadership might find themselves in an ethical dilemma.For example a leader of a community might find themselves being presented with opportunity.The opportunity could come at the expense of resources in the environment.The opportunity for self gain  could comprise ethics. Privatization of water management in various poorer countries around the world has had the affect of limiting domestic access to poorer people within the society (Guillet 2005; Whiteford and Cortez q2005). This is because the goal of private companies (without public oversight) (Boylan 2008) is profit. .In this case leadership and ethics are not working together.The private companies  seem to be focus less on the water bodies which is part of the environment and pay attention solely on the use of the resource for business.
