a.    Describe both the consensus and conflict models as explanations for the origin of criminal law and provide one (1) example of each model to illustrate your discussion. State whether you believe the crime-control model falls into the consensus or conflict model. Also state whether you believe the due-process model falls into the consensus or conflict model.

b.  What are the major implications of each models approach for making social, legal, and political policy in criminal justice?  [Please note that your response will discuss a total of six (6) implications, three (3) implications (social, legal, political) for each of the two (2) models.]
