You have to focus on a particular country or global region. This allows you to incorporate the a cultural analysis which may have some significant bearing on the managing eg expatriation, recruitment and
selection etc.
Remember that this is a module about the cultural impacts on management and behaviour in organisations so DO NOT get distracted into marketing or strategic concepts around mergers and acquisitions.
Develop a working research question to undertake your research, for example:
An evaluation of the negotiation styles and processes in East-West Business relations.
An analysis of the impact of culture on global teams.
An analysis of why businesses working internationally need to consider the impact of cultural differences.
An evaluative study into how culture may influence Recruitment and selection processes.
An analytical discussion of why cross cultural communication skills are essential for global managers.

Using the appropriate and relevant academic literature develop and enhance your research to present a well-constructed analysis of your chosen research question. Draw in examples from the literature and
text books as well as reputable and credible sources in the business press of company activity to provide some case examples.

Clear evidence of research of appropriate, relevant and credible academic materials in relation to cross cultural management and the specific area of focus.
Strength of critical cultural analysis of country/global region to provide cultural context for the discussion.
Consideration of the implications for managers in cross cultural settings of the cultural impact in Management. Evidence of any company examples from research.
