Interview someone you know who has some kind of data management requirement. Identify the list of entities and attributes for the entities. Try to limit the scope to no more than 2 or 3 entities.

Create an entity-relationship diagram showing the entities, their attributes, and the relationships. Select a primary key for each entity. Put your diagram inside a Word document along with a short summary of the data management requirement you identified with the person you interviewed. A transcript of the interview would be even better!

Implement your entities in Microsoft Access. Make sure the columns are appropriate types for the data they will hold. Include relationships between the tables where appropriate.

Create at least one form to help get data into your database.
Create at least one report to help get data out of your database.
Submit your Word document (with diagram and description) and your Access database file.
