Assignment overview
For this assignment, you will be required to complete two modules covering topics from Weeks 4
6.
This assignment will give you the opportunity to engage in productive enquiry across a range of
topics to broaden your understanding of the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in addressing
society’s contemporary issues and in your field of study.

This assignment assesses the following unit learning outcomes:
1. Define and integrate theoretical principles applicable to entrepreneurship and innovation and
apply these to problems and opportunities that might arise in the business and/or social
context.
2. Systematically review and critically evaluate research from a range of sources in order to make
informed judgements on options for using entrepreneurship and innovation in business
contexts.

In this assignment, you will explore the entrepreneurial mindset and transformative innovation as it
is applied in industry and to your field of study.
