Referee report
Students need to write a referee report on the proposal of a fellow student. The purpose of the
report is to briefly summarize the essence of the research proposal (half a page) and provide
comments and suggestions. The referee report should contain criticism on the proposal and provide
tips for improvement. Please provide at least two arguments not only on language skills and writing
style, but also (and most importantly) on the content. The referee and discussant are expected to have crosschecked (and read) the
relevant literature (hence, not only suggesting a paper but also explaining how that would relate to a given topic). In addition, referee and discussant should check the relevance of the hypotheses and
check whether the proposed methodology can be used to test the hypotheses.
