Frank Sinatra’s Album “No One Cares” (1959)

Offer as much background as you can on the album. When was it produced? Who was its arranger? Where does it fall in Sinatra’s career? How well did it do?

Please address such questions as: how do the graphics on front and back cover contribute to the image and impression the album intends to convey (for example, how is Sinatra himself depicted? What props, if any, does he interact with? Are other people represented and how do they interact with Sinatra? What does any language on the back cover tell us about the tone of the album?)? How do the songs work together? Is there a sequence or story they tell when listened to one after the other? What is the overall tone of the album – in Sinatra’s performance of the songs, in the lyrics, in the arrangement?
