********Answer one : (Goleman, n.d) pointed out that self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand personal moods and emotions and drive, as well as their efforts on others. Self-awareness is essential to leadership effectiveness and intelligence. Also, Whitney (2018) reiterates that Self-awareness creates the ability to understand and appreciate individuals and acknowledge other people’s emotions from their expressions, body language, facial expression and what they are saying.Human beings are complex and diverse. To become more self-aware, we should develop an understanding of ourselves in many areas. Key areas for self-awareness include our personality traits, personal values, habits, emotions, and the psychological needs that drive our behaviors.(Mayer

Almost every interview includes the “So tell me about yourself” statement. You need to be ready to answer that so this discussion gives you practice at doing just that. Assignment You are to create and share with us your “elevator speech.” For a review, see Chapter 26 in the textbook. Keep the information you share with us about yourself professional. That is, facts about your personal life – like marriage or children – are off-limits in an interview. Main Post (300-word minimum) Create the subject line (Your Name: Interview). Then create your message by telling us about yourself. The main post should follow the standard 5-paragraph format. Paragraph 1: This is the opening for your routine message. In addition to achieving GATE, be sure to state the purpose, set the context, and preview your three major points. Paragraph 2: Explain your point with supporting evidence Paragraph 3: Explain your second point with supporting evidence Paragraph 4: Explain your third point with supporting evidence) Paragraph 5: Summarize the main post and achieve LAST 2 Replies (2 Replies at 150 words each) Follow this format for the reply subject line o Your Name’s reply to Name (e.g. Emma’s reply to Juan) Use a 4-paragraph format. o Paragraph 1: Acknowledge the other person’s post. You are not to evaluate the post by telling the person how good the post was. Rather, acknowledge what the person said. o Paragraph 2: Identify at least one similarity between you and the other person and give an explanation o Paragraph 3: Identify at least one difference between you and the other person and give an explanation o Paragraph 4: Summarize your message

ECET-402 Week 5 Lab – Relays and Relay Logic Controls Objective The objective of this lab exercise is to wire a relay logic circuit for a given control process that consist of a motor, switches, and pushbuttons using Multisim. Parts Needed Multisim Pre-lab: Electromagnetic Relay: Check lab for details A Simple Relay Logic Diagram: Figure 2 shows a new way of drawing an electric circuit. The two vertical lines are called rails and indicate the positive terminal of a dc source (or Hot in AC) on the left, and the negative terminal of a dc source (or Neutral in AC) on the right. Physical components are placed between the two rails. The diagram resembles a ladder. These circuits are referred to as ladder logic diagrams. Figure 2 is the solution for the simple process described below: Process: The process starts by pressing a NO START pushbutton. As soon as the process starts, a motor runs. While the motor is running, a green light stays on. A thermostat is used to detect overheating in the motor. If the motor overheats, the thermostat will close like a switch. In this case the motor must be stopped, the green light should turn off, and a red light should turn on. An operator can stop the entire process by pressing a NC STOP pushbutton. Figure 2 – The ladder logic diagram for the given process Here is a brief description of how the system works: When the Start pushbutton is closed, Coil CR1 of relay-1 is energized. Then the two NO contact CR1 (belonging to relay-1) are closed. When we release the NO Start pushbutton, the coil CR1 remains energized. This is called the latching of the process. Since the second NO CR1 contact is closed, the motor and the green light turn on. At normal operating temperatures of the motor, the thermostat switch is open. However it closes if motor overheats. When the thermostat switch is closed, it energizes the coil of a second relay CR2. Once coil CR2 is energized, it opens the NC contact CR2 located just before the motor, turning both the motor and the green light off. Note that when the thermostat switch is closed, the red light is turned on. Lab Steps STEP 1 Connect all components, as shown in Figure 2. using Multisim. Your Management Team Will Be Assessing And Evaluating The Scenario Provided And Making Decisions
Your management team will be assessing and evaluating the scenario provided and making decisions and recommendations on how to handle the situation. Read through the scenario and answer the following questions below in at least 500 words. As you write, consider the feedback you have received from the first two Scenarios and make sure to use it as additional guidelines for your response to this Scenario. Scenario 3 You are concerned about the continuing performance of one of your newer employees in your department. The employee is a single mother, African-American, and has worked at the company for 10 years. She had worked the same job for 9 of those years but this past year was hired into your department and is still within her 1-year probation period. She continues to struggle to do the job and is on an improvement plan. Unfortunately, she is not improving and the process may lead to termination. You are aware that various aspects of employment law can come into play (At-Will clauses, discrimination, documentation, etc.). Analyze the situation and define your goals and outcomes (be specific). In your management team, discuss some options and possible repercussions of this behavior to the department and the organization. As the manager, what is your specific responsibility in this situation? Think of your role’s responsibilities and not necessarily about the actual steps you would take. What is your team’s decision(s) and what resources help support that decision(s)? Evaluate your team’s decision(s) (Justify why you feel this was the most appropriate course of action. Was this a unanimous group consensus? What challenges did your team face in making a collaborative decision?)

A) Consider A Supplier Order Allocation Problem Under Multiple Sourcing, Where It Is Required
Get college assignment help at Smashing Essays a) Consider a supplier order allocation problem under multiple sourcing, where it is required to buy 2000 units of a certain product from three different suppliers. The fixed set-up cost (independent of the order quantity), variable cost (unit price), and the maximum capacity of each supplier are given in Table 5.15 (two suppliers offer quantity discounts). The objective is to minimize the total cost of purchasing (fixed plus variable cost). Formulate this as a linear integer programming problem. You must define all your variables clearly, write out the constraints to be satisfied with a brief explanation of each and develop the objective function. table : 5.15 supplier data for exercise 5.5 supplier / fixed cost/ capacity /unit price 1 / $100 / 600 unit / $10 per unit for first 300 units; $7 per unit for remaining 300 units 2 / $500 / 800 units/ $2 per unit for all 800 units 3 / $300 / 1200 units / $6 per unit for first 500 units; $4 per unit for remaining 700 units b) Reformulate the problem under the assumption that both suppliers 1 and 3 offer all units discount, as described in the following; -Supplier 1 charges $10 per unit for orders up to 300 units and for orders more than 300 units, the entire order will be priced at $7 unit. -Supplier 3 charges $6 per unit for orders up to 500 units and for orders more than 500 units, the entire order will be priced at $4 per unit. c)The decision maker also wants to consider another objective: minimizing lead time; however, he or she believes minimizing cost is more important than minimizing lead time. Formulate this multi-objective problem as a preemptive GP model. Let A and B be the target value for cost and lead time, respectively. The expected lead times of the product from S1, S2, and S3 are 5, 6, and 7 days, respectively.

Match the mini-case studies below with the correct legal concept. a Basic Judicial Requirments, Standing to Sue (Right to sue?) b Six guidelines of ethical behavior-law, Rules, procedures, value-law, conscience, promises, heroes. c Basic discovery d Venue 1 Plaintiff Jane moved from Big City to the southern suburbs. She purchased a house on five acres of land. She realized that she had to get used to country living. She missed all of Big City’s everyday conveniences. However, she vowed never to leave her new home and enjoyed the tremendous peace and quiet of the burbs. She was especially looking forward to using her well-water system of what she thought was the biggest plus, fresh ground water. Before she moved in, she installed a top of the line filtration system. Little did she know that Big City’s now filled to capacity landfill was located about a mile from her new house. One day while preparing to make a pitcher of fresh lemonade, she noticed something floating in the water. Thinking it was something that fell in the pitcher; she poured out the water and refilled it with fresh water. Carefully examining the pitcher, she noticed that there was a lot more floating the pitcher. Thinking it maybe was a result of her new filtration system, she called the company to test the system. The company indicated that it checked the system and it was working properly. The company indicated that she was not the only one to have this complaint in the last month or so. The water filter company indicated that they believed contaminates are leaching from the landfill into the fresh water aquifer. With the water filter company’s report in hand, Jane drives into Big City to discuss the situation with her lawyer. She contends she should be able to sue under the Federal environmental laws regarding groundwater contamination. What is the initial requirement she must determine? 2 XYA Corporation discovered that ZZZ Inc., a competitor, is in the process of producing a new widget gadget. XYA believed that the widget gadget contained component parts to which XYA owned the patent. These component parts are ones XYA believes to have been included into the gadget being produced by ZZZ Inc. XYA filed a lawsuit in Federal Court asking for expedited review to determine whether an injunction should be issued before production escalated. As a part of the preliminary hearing in Federal court, XYA asked the court to allow it to obtain a copy of the official gadget blueprint plans to determine if the case should continue. Under what procedure would XYA would be permitted to obtain the plans? 3 Suzey Que resides in North Carolina, a state that supplies the majority of vape chemicals used in the new smoking pipes. Suzey sued the company, VapAttack Inc., which is the manufacturer and supplier of the chemicals. Suzey sued VapAttack Inc. in federal court in the county in which she resides. Suzey’s county of residence also happens to be the county were the majority of tobacco growers reside. VapAttack Inc. filed a motion with the court for a change of venue asking the court to change the location of the lawsuit to the county where its headquarters resides. Under what court procedure is the motion filed by VapAttack Inc. likely to be brought? What are the potential grounds the court would review in making a determination? 4 Jake Salesman is a sales manager at Wegotit, Inc. His SVP provided Jake and other team leaders with a copy of the company’s new sales forecast for the next quarter. The SVP provided the team leaders with information related to the last quarter results. The company performance fell behind the profitable goals set by the president of the company that were based on the company staying liquid for the rest of the year. Because of last quarter’s results, the company faced massive layoffs unless they could double their efforts in the upcoming quarter. The SVP interpreted the president’s message as meaning they had to do everything possible to regain the market share. The SVP indicated to the team leaders that they were personally responsible for the survival of the company. The highlight of his presentation came when he told everyone in the room that they were to recovery the market share “by any means necessary.” The president said that that they were to leave no stone unturned and let no rule stand in their way. Jake set up a meeting with his team to go over the individual quotas for which his members were responsible. Before the meeting with the SVP ended, the SVP indicated that he wanted every team leader to repeat his call to duty to reach the goals “by any means necessary.” If Jake Salesman follows the SVP’s directives, what else should Jake consider telling his team during his meeting with his team?
This Chapter Covers Methods For Preparing And Documenting The Product Requirements For Meeting
This chapter covers methods for preparing and documenting the product requirements for meeting reliability targets and the associated constraints. The definition of requirements is directly derived from the needs of the market and the possible constraints in producing the product. This chapter discusses requirements, specifications, and risk tracking. The discussion also includes methods of developing qualified component suppliers and effective supply chains, product requirement specifications, and requirements tracking to achieve the reliability targets. Q Offshore recreational fishermen usually target their catch at distances ranging from 10 to 25 miles; communication at sea is usually accomplished using a VHF radio. In case of an emergency, their chance of surviving is basically defined by the chance of someone hearing their call. VHF radios work on a line of site principle and it has no control of who may receive the signal. This situation defines the need of having a water proof cellular phone with a long-range reception/transmission capability. To present this idea to a company, we first need to define a series of requirement that will be then transformed into specifications that will lead to a final design. Q Please ignore table references – Create a list of product requirements for the device described above Q Please ignore table references -Classify the requirements into MUST, SHOULD and COULD categories.
