I am in a Finance 320 at Southern New Hampshire University. We have to do ratios and an analysis of 2 competing companies. I have chosen Walmart and Target. When I pulled up the income statement for Target using Mergent Online, the total revenue for 2016 and 2017 shows nil. How am I suppose to use that in my ratios? Would a company post nil for the years total revenue? Please help if you can.
